Harleen Sethi on breakup with Vicky Kaushal, says ‘I am nobody’s ex or current or even future girlfriend’

Actor Harleen Sethi has spoken about her breakup with actor Vicky Kaushal. She has said that she was associated with a movie star and hasn’t done a movie yet but it doesn’t make her any less.

Actor Harleen Sethi has opened up about her breakup with actor Vicky Kaushal and has said that it is good that it happened. The two broke up after the release of Vicky’s latest release, Uri: The Surgical Strike that went on to cross the ₹200 crore mark at the box office.

In an interview to Pinkvilla, Harleen said, “Honestly, it did not bother me but it did bother my family and friends. As an individual, we all have our own identities. Just because I was associated with a movie star and I haven’t done a movie yet, doesn’t make me any less. I still love myself. And I would love to be known as Harleen Sethi. I think it will be unfair to call someone else my ex-boyfriend, right? I am nobody’s ex or current or even future girlfriend. I am Harleen Sethi.”

Earlier, Harleen had shared a detailed note on her Instagram account amid their breakup rumours. She wrote, “From where I started. To where I’ve come. I didn’t design this path. His will was welcome. Fearlessly hustling. Energetic and bustling. I found who I was. A small fish in a big pond. I enjoyed the eccentricities. Performances and anxieties. Feeling alive everyday. Making a mark in my own way. Link ups don’t build me. Breakups don’t break me. Wins don’t fill me. Failures don’t kill me. I feel complete. I feel sufficient. I have my own swag, I am my own tag #iammyowntag #harleensethi.”

Vicky had also confirmed their breakup at the HT India’s Most Stylish awards. On being asked about his current relationship status, the actor repeated a few times that he is single and ‘akela’ (alone). But when inquired if he was ready to mingle, Vicky added, “ready to mingle on stage with the audience.”

Harleen is currently getting a lot of appreciation for her few dance videos with choreographer Melvin Louis and had also shared a video while dancing with Varun Dhawan to his Kalank song First Class.
