Deepshikha Nagpal, who filed a police complaint against husband Kaishav Arora, says she won’t react to the rumours that he has spread

TV actor Deepshikha Nagpal, who was recently seen on the controversial reality TV show Bigg Boss 8, filed a non-cognisable offence complaint with the police on April 13, restraining her husband Kaishav Arora from entering her home.

Finally, breaking her silence about their marital problems, she says, "I went to the cops as I wanted protection for my family. He threatened to kill me and my kids. Only I know what I have gone through. I don’t want to talk about it."

Deepshikha, who has two kids from her previous marriage, started living with Kaishav in 2009. They got married in 2012.

A source close to her says, "Having been through a bitter marriage before, it is unfortunate that she is going through another one. Kaishav would taunt her and pick fights, but she kept thinking things would get better. For the most part of their marriage, Deepshikha has been the breadwinner."

Apparently, Kaishav has told his friends that he isn’t seeking alimony, he only wants to keep the money he earned during this time frame.

Deepshikha adds that while Kaishav has been spreading rumours about her, she has no intention of doing the same. "I want to set an example for women who stay quiet about such torture because of the social stigma attached to it, or for the fear of their future," she says.

The source adds that the actor hasn’t filed an FIR against Kaishav yet, but will not hesitate to do so if the need arises. We are told that he hasn’t tried to contact her after she filed the complaint.

We tried contacting Kaishav, but he was unavailable for a comment.
