Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava are expecting their first child together. The television stars made the big reveal to their fans and followers on Instagram with a fun and quirky announcement picture.

“A lifelong festival begins for @ankzbhargava And Me this November ...! #ConnotWait #Excited #Blessed #MomAndDaddaSoon ....! thankyou @shrutitejwaniphotography for the #Dhamakedaar #Photoshoot,” Karan captioned the announcement photo which looks just like a poster for a rom-com movie.

In the photo, Ankita is busy on the phone while Karan holds shopping bags behind her. “Yeh Diwali Baby Wali,” reads the big title in bold letters. ‘Produced by Patels in association with Bharagavas,’ says the funny tagline. The baby is expected in November.

Karan had recently told Bombay Times that he is excited about becoming a father. “It’s sinking in slowly, and I am ecstatic. I can’t go through the emotions and transformations, which Ankita is going through. It’s a beautiful phase for her as she will graduate from a wife to a mother. I plan to spoil our baby silly with love and pampering once he/she is born. We would like to have two kids – both Ankita and I are the only children of our parents and we understand the need for a sibling,” he said.

Karan and Ankita got married in 2015. Karan made his acting debut with Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki in 2000 and is best known for his role as Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hain Mohabbatein opposite Divyanka Tripathi. Ankita made her debut with Sanjeevani and has also worked on shows such as Reporters.
