Qubool Hai It was fun to watch the dramatic fight between Razia and Dadi, and Asad’s announcement about not wanting to marry Zoya, which was presented with a dash of humour. Usually makers go for melodrama but this dollop of comedy worked well instead.

Diya Aur Baati Hum While it’s commendable that issues like honour killing, inter-religious marriages and the desire of women to have a boy instead of a girl were focussed upon, adding too many causes in one story track didn’t help. How much do people actually learn from these episodes?
