For Tejasswi Prakash, moving from one character to another isn’t difficult. The actor, who shot to fame with the TV show Swaragini, says that she wants the audience to forget characters she has portrayed before. She wants them to enjoy the new role she is playing in her upcoming show, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, as her effort is to give them something different every time.

Tejasswi Prakash believes that people have forgotten about Pehredaar Piya Ki, and clarifies that her new show, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, is not a sequel.
Tejasswi Prakash believes that people have forgotten about Pehredaar Piya Ki, and clarifies that her new show, Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, is not a sequel.

“Dhara (from the show Sanskaar) was different from Ragini (from the show Swaragini), and Diya (from the show Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya) is nothing like Ragini. My effort is to try something new every time. And as I move ahead, I try and leave the previous character behind. Also, I make sure that the new character must have something different, or else why am I doing it? I want my audience also to move ahead and enjoy my performance in a new avatar,” says Tejasswi, hinting that by now, the audience must have forgotten about the controversial show Pehredaar Piya Ki that was taken off air for its alleged regressive content.

“I think Pehredaar Piya Ki is a closed chapter now; no one is talking about it. I have a feeling that the audience is now looking forward to what I’m playing next. And I want to make one more thing clear that my next show is not a sequel to Pehredaar...,”she adds.

There were reports that Tejasswi’s character, Diya, in her upcoming show will be doing a lot of stunts and the actor isn’t using any body double to pull them off. Confirming the news, she adds, “I am having a lot of fun doing my stunts, such as standing on a moving car and learning how to shoot, among other things. I’m making sure that I keep my fitness quotient high with proper diet and exercise. Though they (the makers of the show) had initially wanted me to use a body double, they saw that I’m able to perform my stunts well.”
