Turkey says it has foiled planned terrorist attacks targeting Christmas and New Year celebrations, announcing the arrest of over 115 suspected ISIS (ISIL) operatives in sweeping anti‑terror raids across Istanbul and several other provinces on December 25. According to reports, the operations covered 124 locations, after Turkish intelligence received warnings about plots aimed at non‑Muslim communities during the holiday period.
