'Are We Terrorists?': Modi's Minister Slammed By DMK For 'Bengaluru Bomber From Tamil Nadu' Claim
Published on Mar 20, 2024 05:21 pm IST
Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje found herself apologising to Tamilians after claiming that the prime suspect in the Bengaluru cafe blast was from Tamil Nadu. DMK supremo and Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin called the Modi minister’s statement “reckless”. Facing backlash, Karandlaje sought “forgiveness'' of Tamilians. DMK, however, found her apology “half-hearted” and complained to the Election Commission, demanding “stringent action” against Karandlaje for her “hate speech”.
