As US & Mecca pact allies refuse direct strikes, MBS begs Iran for help but gets a warning instead?

Saudi Arabia is facing mounting pressure after a series of Houthi attacks on its airports left people dead, hundreds injured and critical aviation infrastructure disrupted. With Riyadh weighing its response, Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, marking the first publicly reported contact since the latest escalation. Tehran offered to help facilitate dialogue between Saudi Arabia and Yemen, but warned that relying on military action while ignoring political solutions would further complicate the crisis. Meanwhile, the United States has not committed to direct military involvement, while Turkey has ruled out offensive troop operations under the Mecca defence pact, favouring defensive and technical assistance. Could diplomacy offer MBS a way out of the escalating conflict?
