‘Autocratic’: Tejasvi Surya vs Gehlot govt showdown over Karauli violence

• A major showdown between the BJP and Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government erupted in Rajasthan over Karauli violence. Rajasthan Police detained BJP MP Tejasvi Surya and the party’s state president Satish Poonia at the Karauli border as they tried to enter the violence-hit city. Accompanied by hundreds of party workers, Surya and Poonia were trying to meet the victims of the April 2 violence. After being stopped, the BJP delegation sat on protest at the border before the police dispersed them with force and detained Surya, Poonia and other BJP workers. Watch this video for more details.
