Kadena Air Base, the U.S.’s largest hub in Japan, sits squarely within range of China’s growing missile arsenal. With over 2,000 missiles capable of striking Japanese bases, analysts warn that U.S. aircraft, fuel depots, and command centers are highly vulnerable. Even a small missile salvo could cripple operations within minutes. The same risks extend to U.S. bases in the Philippines, where drone swarms and ballistic attacks could hit dispersed forces.
