- The historic Hassanabad Bridge in Gilgit-Baltistan region washed away in flash floods on Saturday. The video which captures the exact moment of the bridge's destruction, shows how the flood water came gushing down from a glacial lake. The bridge stood on the Karakoram Highway and connected China to northern Pakistan. The incident took place after a heatwave caused melting of Shishper glacier located near Mount Shishper in the northern part of Pakistan. Watch this video for more.
