China ‘fears' U.S sanctions amid reports of Beijing supporting Russian war

• China has now hit out at the U.S after it warned Xi Jinping against siding with Russia and supporting it in the war against Ukraine. Claiming that the U.S was spreading misinformation against it, China dismissed the reports on Russia seeking military equipment from them and urged the U.S not to harm their interests while sanctioning Russia. Even Vladimir Putin had dismissed the reports which claimed that it sought 5 different types of weapons from China to help it invade Ukraine. On the other hand, this issue was raised by the U.S in Rome where U.S. adviser Jake Sullivan and senior Chinese foreign policy adviser Yang Jiechi came face-to-face. Watch this video for more details.
