India showed her support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 9pm 9 minutes initiative as people across the country switched off lights in their homes and came to their balconies with diyas and candles. PM Modi certainly knows how to make Indians feel directly involved in the nation's affairs with small gestures. While India does have an uphill battle ahead with Covid-19, on Sunday night at least there was hope that we will win this war.
