Covaxin good & bad news: US agency acclaim; Brazil deal suspension for probe

- India's first indigenous vaccine against Covid-19 - Covaxin - received international endorsement in the form of a study by the US National Institute of Health. The apex health agency said that Covaxin effectively neutralises Alpha and Delta variants of Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus. However, some not-so-good news followed for Bharat Biotech, Covaxin's developer. Brazil suspended a contract to procure the vaccine to probe allegations of irregularities in the deal - a charge denied by President Jair Bolsonaro. Watch the full video for more.
