‘Covaxin’s approval…’: Foreign Secy Shringla on WHO’s Emergency Use Listing

Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla expressed his hope that the World Health Organization (WHO) will soon give approval to Bharat Biotech’s Covaxin. Shringla said it was not an administrative process but a technical one. His comments come amid reports that WHO will decide on Covaxin's approval soon. He said, “Technical Committee will evaluate the submissions made by Bharat Biotech which created Covaxin. I am sure the approval of Covaxin from WHO will come at the soonest possible." Bharat Biotech is still waiting to be added to W.H.O’s Emergency Use Listing (EUL). Watch the full video for more.
