Covid update: Book a jab via WhatsApp; India in endemic stage; 3rd wave scare

- The NITI Aayog has warned the central government of a possible third wave of Covid in September with daily infections reaching 5-6 lakh mark. Meanwhile, WHO’s Chief Scientist Soumya Swaminathan said that the pandemic in India may have entered an endemic stage. India’s first Mrna-based Covid vaccine got a nod for third phase trial.
