Covid vaccine: Foreign diplomats hail India’s capability after lab visit

Foreign diplomats posted in India visited vaccine labs in Hyderabad. The Indian govt arranged the visit to show progress in vaccine development. Over 60 envoys visited Bharat Biotech, and Biological E's facilities. The diplomats praised India's vaccine production capabilities. Bharat Biotech has applied for emergency use approval for 'Covaxin'. Biological E's vaccine candidate will soon enter early-stage trials. Bharat Biotech's joint M.D. expressed hope of vaccine availability soon. Suchitra Ella said, “We can't predict the timeline because licensure will come from govt. We hope that Covaxin will be available in first quarter of 2021.” Watch the full video for more.
