As India struggles with its worst Covid wave, a political face-off brewed over diplomats seeking help. On May 1, the New Zealand High Commission in India tagged the Congress party's youth wing, seeking help for finding an oxygen cylinder. Responding to the call, the Congress claimed to have provided oxygen cylinders to the High Commission. Indian Youth Congress' president also tweeted a video of the delivery. Meanwhile, the New Zealand High Commission deleted its tweet, and posted a new one, apologising for misinterpretation of its earlier appeal. The incident also led to a twitter battle between Congress leader Jairam Ramesh and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar. Watch the full video for more.
