China is battling its worst outbreak in months fuelled by the Delta variant. The outbreak has forced China to place many compounds in lockdown in the capital Beijing. Over 41,000 are under stay-at-home orders in Beijing's Changping district. Checkpoints have been set up to regulate the entry and exit of residents and public transport suspended.
