Explained: Why's China spooked over WHO's latest demand on Covid origin probe?

- China has reacted sharply to the World Health Organisation's appeal that the country share raw data of the earliest Covid-19 patients, and also allow retesting of samples in laboratories outside the country. This is the latest move by the WHO to try to ascertain the origin of the Sars-CoV-2 coronavirus which caused pandemic. China has said that there is no need for such examinations, since a report had already been prepared earlier this year. The report that Beijing referred to had said that the lab leak scenario is 'extremely unlikely'. However, experts had exposed many loopholes in the report. Some people have called for a probe into whether the virus somehow got leaked from a lab in Wuhan called the Institute of Virology. Watch the full video for more.
