India receives Covid aid from Italy; EU envoy says focus is on oxygen supply

A flight from Italy, carrying Covid-19 medical aid, arrived in New Delhi on May 3. The shipment included 1 oxygen generating plant and 20 ventilators. Ambassador of Italy to India, Vincenzo De Luca said, “We're going to deliver an oxygen production machine to a hospital in Noida. It'll provide oxygen to 100 patients at one time and to thousands in the days to come. Italian companies operating in India are helping the Indian government in the production of oxygen.” Ambassador of European Union to India, Ugo Astuto said that the focus is on supplying oxygen and drugs to the country as Covid aid amid second wave of coronavirus.
