PM, health workers' photo as special livery: How SpiceJet applauded 100 cr jabs

- SpiceJet joined the celebration as India crossed 100 crore (1 billion) Covid-19 vaccination mark. On Thursday, the airline unveiled a special livery on its Boeing 737 aircraft at Delhi airport. The livery bearing image of PM Modi & health workers adorned three Boeing 737 aircraft of SpiceJet. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya was also present on the occasion. “I want to congratulate everyone including all airlines that transported vaccines. This plane will travel abroad, we want to send a global message of India's unity,” SpiceJet Chairman and MD, Ajay Singh said. The cumulative Covid vaccines administered in India surpassed the 100-crore milestone on Thursday. Around 75% of India's all eligible adult population has been inoculated with at least one dose. The countrywide Covid vaccination drive was rolled out on January 16, 2021.
