West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee launched a fresh attack on the Narendra Modi government. She alleged that the Centre was discriminating between states in allocation of Covid-19 vaccines. Citing the spread of the Delta variant in nearby states, Mamata sought a higher share of vaccines for Bengal.
