Watch: Amid lockdown, thousands gather outside Himachal Bhavan in Chandigarh

Chaotic scenes were witnessed outside Himachal Bhavan in Chandigarh as thousands converged at the area. This after the Himachal Pradesh government had earlier released a notice announcing buses to evacuate Himachal residents. Police had to step in to control the crowd following which social distancing norms were implemented. 1,300 people were evacuated on Saturday in 51 buses while more people will be evacuated on Monday and Tuesday.
