Watch: Oxygen Express arrives at UP’s Gorakhpur with 40 MT liquid medical oxygen

Oxygen express train with liquid medical oxygen reached Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur. The oxygen express train carried 40 MT liquid medical oxygen from Jamshedpur. “The Oxygen Express train reached in 12 hours from Jamshedpur. Covid situation in Gorakhpur is under control. Earlier, we produced 2000 oxygen cylinders per day but now we produce 8000 cylinders,” said Vijayendra Pandian, DM, Gorakhpur. He added, “We only faced difficulty when LMO was being transported by road. The Oxygen Express train, as you can see, arrived in 12 hours.” Indian Railways delivered more than 8700 MT of LMO across the country.139 Oxygen Expresses have completed their journey to various states.
