‘Will lead to unhealthy bidding & profiteering’: Congress on vaccine strategy

- Congress has accused the Modi government of abdicating its responsibility under its modified vaccine policy. Chidambaram said that the Centre should have fixed a price for the states to buy vaccines from manufacturers. He said that by liberalising the pricing of vaccine, and not fixing a price for states at the same rate as it is available to the Union Government, the Centre is paving the way to unhealthy price bidding and profiteering.
