Covid scare in IPL as SRH’s T Natarajan tests positive

- Ahead of an IPL match between Delhi Challengers and Sunrisers Hyderabad, a pacer of the latter tested positive for Covid-19. Pacer T Natarajan tested positive during a routine RT-PCR before the match. 6 close contacts of Natarajan including all-rounder Vijay Shankar were kept in isolation. The close contacts of the pacer include support staff of the SRH team. The BCCI however decided to go ahead with the match. This is IPL 2021’s second league which is being played in UAE after the board decided to shift the series from India. IPL 2021 was abandoned in May after Covid breached the bio-bubble of IPL and cases spiked. Watch the full video for more details.
