- The Mumbai Indians (MI) needed a comprehensive win against the Rajasthan Royals (RR) in order to stay alive in the IPL 2021 Playoffs race and they did just that by romping home to an 8-wicket win with a whopping 70 balls to spare. With the ball, Nathan Coulter-Nile (4-for), Jimmy Neesham (3-for), and Jasprit Bumrah (2-for) helped MI restrict RR to 90/9 in 20 overs. In response, Rohit Sharma (22 off 13 balls) and Ishan Kishan (50* off 25 balls) sealed the win.
