IPL 2021: Shaw, Dhawan shine as DC defeat KKR by 7 wickets

- Delhi Capitals defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets in Indian Premier League 2021 math no. 25 at Narendra Modi cricket stadium in Ahmedabad. Asked to bat first, Kolkata Knight Riders posted 154 for 6 in 20 overs. Opener Shubman Gill top-scored with a 38-ball 43 but KKR slipped to 82 for five before Andre Russell smashed 45 off 27 balls to take them past the 150-mark. The spin duo of Axar Patel and Lalit Yadav snared two wickets each for DC. In reply, Delhi Capitals chased down the target in 16.3 overs. Opener Prithvi Shaw blazed away to 82 off only 41 balls while sharing 132-run opening stand with Shikhar Dhawan.
