‘Modi govt’s negligence caused surge in Covid cases’: Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee

• West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has urged the election commission to not allow any outsider in the state without conducting a Covid test. The Bengal CM also lashed out at the Modi government and said that they had neglected the pandemic which has now led to a surge in cases. Mamata also added that she had urged the Prime Minister to provide vaccines to states so everyone could be given the jab.
