‘Modi govt’s negligence caused surge in Covid cases’: Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee

- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has urged the election commission to not allow any outsider in the state without conducting a Covid test. The Bengal CM also lashed out at the Modi government and said that they had neglected the pandemic which has now led to a surge in cases. Mamata also added that she had urged the Prime Minister to provide vaccines to states so everyone could be given the jab. Earlier, the Trinamool Congress had also asked the election commission to club all the remaining four phases of polls to curb Covid spread. Watch the full video for all the details.
