Arsene Wenger left with ‘bitter taste’ after Atletico Madrid draw

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said his side's 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid in the first first leg of their Europa League semi-final clash at the Emirates Stadium in London on Thursday left a 'bitter taste' as the English side failed to take advantage of playing with one extra man for most part of the game. Atletico saw defender Sime Vrsaljko sent off in the opening 10 minutes, and although Alexandre Lacazette gave Arsenal the lead early in the second half, Antoine Griezmann equalised late into the game.
