Jurgen Klopp says Liverpool deserve to be ninth in Premier League table

Jurgen Klopp was in no mood to pull any punches after his side's 4-1 drubbing at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur in their Premier League fixture, stating that his side deserve to be ninth after their error-riddled performance at Wembley Stadium. A brace from Harry Kane as well as goals from Dele Alli and Son-Heung Min showcased Liverpool's defensive frailties once again. Klopp added that seeing his side make such simple defensive errors wasn't easy, and that they need to prove to everyone that they can fix these problems instead of simply talking about not making further mistakes in the future.
