Massive chaos erupted in Jerusalem after police and ultra-Orthodox protesters clashed on June 30. Protests broke out against a court ruling to enlist Haredi yeshiva students in the Israeli army. Thousands of men joined the protests in an ultra-Orthodox neighborhood against the order. The demonstrations turned violent after they made their way towards central Jerusalem.
