From oil fires to playgrounds: is Ukraine now ‘hunting’ Russian children with drone-dropped mines?

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Ukrainian drones scattered mines near three schools and 17 kindergartens in Bryansk on October 30. She said no minors were hurt. Regional authorities reported explosive devices, street closures and demining operations, while footage released by the governor showed a woman being escorted to safety. Zakharova also alleged a large drone assault towards Moscow during the Russia–Africa summit. These Russian official accounts did not independently establish Ukrainian intent to target children.
