The Big Winners of #Oscars2017

The 89th Academy Awards honoured the best of Hollywood on February 26, 2017 and also became a talking point for the most awkward moment in history of Academy Awards. Barry Jenkin's Moonlight won the Best Picture Award, after La La Land's name was officially announced for the same. While on stage to announce the award for the best picture, presenters Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway apparently took the wrong envelope - the one for best actress winner Emma Stone. The name was announced and the team of La La Land made their way to the stage to receive the coveted award. When the Beatty and Dunaway realised the mistake, representatives for ballot tabulators Price Waterhouse Coopers raced onstage to try to stop the acceptance speeches. Other winners include Emma Stone (Best Actress , La La Land), Casey Affleck (Best Actor, Manchester by the Sea), Mahershala Ali (Best Supporting Actor, Moonlight), Viola Davis (Best Supporting Actress, Fences) and Damiene Chazelle (Best Direction, La La Land).
