The 15 Indians who were rescued by the Indian Navy aboard the targeted ship near Somalia hailed the elite marine commandos for evacuating them safely. The Indians chanted Bharat Mata Ki Jai slogans. The Indian Navy managed to thwart a Houthi-like attack on MV Lila Norfolk ship off the coast of Somalia on January 5, and rescued all 21 crew members including 15 Indians.
