Alert in Telangana after massive cash seizure in poll season

In a bid to check flow of unaccounted cash in election season, the Telangana Police conducted simultaneous raids at 4 locations and confiscated cash worth Rs 90 lakh. The money was seized from 4 individuals hailing from different parts of the country. The police forces are on high alert since the Model Code of Conduct was enforced after declaration of Lok Sabha election dates. The alertness is to ensure that cash and other inducements aren't misused to vitiate the electoral process.
