‘All labs have to give test results within 24 hours’: Delhi Health Minister

Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain spoke on coronavirus situation in the city-state. Jain talked about Covid-19 testing and medical arrangements. “As many as 42 laboratories are functional in Delhi. Seven of them were stopped for 2-3 days as they were delaying test results. All labs have to give test results within 24 hours,” he said. Jain added, “We have made arrangements of 2000 more beds in private hospitals. The additional beds will be available after 2-3 days.” So far, Delhi has recorded over 32,800 infections and more than 980 deaths.
