Former Congress MLA Asif Khan has cried foul over being named in the FIR filed by Delhi police in the Jamia Nagar violence case. The former Congress MLA said that there was no violence in Shaheen Bagh, where he was protesting. He added that if there was any violence in his area, the FIR should have been filed in Shaheen Bagh and not Jamia Nagar or New Friends Colony. The former Congress legislator also accused the police of trying to suppress the voices of people voicing people's opinions.
