Watch: CWC deliberates to find new Congress chief to succeed Rahul Gandhi

Congress Working Committee met to pick Rahul Gandhi's successor. CWC members interacted with state unit leaders to seek their views on next party chief. Party's top brass in a huddle to resolve leadership crisis triggered by Rahul Gandhi's resignation. Congress top body divided itself into 5 groups to interact with state leaders. Sonia & Rahul Gandhi will interact with leaders from eastern & western region respectively. Priyanka Gandhi & Manmohan Singh will speak to leaders from north & south respectively. Ambika Soni will interact with state unit leaders from northeast. Rahul Gandhi resigned from the post in May soon after LS elections result. He stepped down taking moral responsibility for Congress' poor performance in polls.
