Haryana woman held captive by husband in toilet for over a year, rescued

A woman in Haryana's Rishpur village of Panipat district was locked in a toilet by her husband for over a year. She was rescued by a team of district women & child welfare department officials. The woman was found to be extremely weak and couldn't even walk. The 35-year old woman was first taken to civil hospital and has now been handed over to her cousin. She has been married to Naresh Kumar for the last 17 years and has three children. Police informed that a case has been registered and necessary action will be taken.
