Updated on Mar 18, 2020 06:27 pm IST
Union minister Hardeep Puri commented on the Kunal Kamra-Arnab Goswami controversy. Puri, who is the Minister of State (independent charge), Civil Aviation, defended the flying ban placed on Kamra, a comedian, by many airlines. The minister said that Kamra had jeopardised the security of an aircraft when he heckled Goswami, a television anchor, onboard. The incident had taken place in the last week of January. Kamra had posted a video of the incident on social media, following which, Puri had exhorted all airlines to ban him.
