Watch: IED recovered near national highway in Assam’s Tinsukia

An improvised explosive device was found near a highway in Assam. The IED was planted on National Highway-38 in Lekhapani in Tinsukia district. A team of Indian Army personnel neutralised the explosive device. Last month, an IED was found and defused by Army near the same highway. The IED was discovered at Ramnagar village near Bogapani along the highway. Traffic between Tinsukia and Digboi along the highway was halted for hours.
