Kisan Rally: Government agrees to address majority of issues of farmers

The government has agreed to address majority of issues of farmers after meeting of farmers' leader and Home Minister Rajnath Singh was held in New Delhi today. 'Kisan Kranti Padyatra' was carried out by farmers demanding loan waivers and reduction in electricity tariff today.They were also demanding a provision of pension to every farmer aged above 60. 'Padyatra' under the banner Bharatiya Kisan Union that began from Haridwar reached the national capital on the occasion of the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
