Mutual support among our parties must remain strong: Sonia Gandhi

United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Chairperson Sonia Gandhi on Sunday unveiled Tamil Nadu's late former Chief Minister M Karunanidhi's statue in Chennai. While addressing a rally she remembered how M Karunanidhi's knowledge and experience was instrumental in guiding the coalition government. “It is my earnest desire that mutual support of our parties to each other must remain strong and steadfast as when Dr. Karunanidhiji was guiding us as we wage, all together, a battle with the political forces that are determined to destroy our constitutional values, our institution- the idea of India as we know it.”
