‘No resistance by people’: Delhi Police commissioner on clearing anti-CAA protest sites

Delhi police cleared anti-CAA protest site outside Jamia Millia Islamia amid complete lockdown in Delhi. Jamia had temporarily suspended protest on March 21 at Gate no. 7 in view of coronavirus. Police also used drones to monitor the Jamia area. Earlier, police also cleared Shaheen Bagh protest site in wake of coronavirus. Locals gave flowers to police personnel after Shaheen Bagh protest site was cleared. More than 30 confirmed cases were reported in Delhi which includes one death so far.
