Parents of the 8-year-old girl who was brutally raped and murdered in Jammu and Kashmir shared the sorrow of losing their daughter. An eight-year-old girl was continuously drugged and gang-raped thrice by her abductors, allegedly including a special police officer, inside a temple. The girl, who belonged to the nomadic Muslim Bakarwal community and was abducted on January 10 in Jammu region's Kathua district while grazing horses near her home. Her body was found on January 17. Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police (DGP) SP Vaid condemned the Kathua rape case.
