President, PM pays tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on 69th death anniversary

President Pranab Mukherjee, Vice President Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his 69th death anniversary at Rajghat in the national capital. After paying his respects, the Prime Minister joined a group of people offering their prayers at an inter-religious meeting. An ardent supporter of non-violence, Mahatma Gandhi was killed by Nathuram Godse on 30th January 1948.
