Sacred Games: Delhi HC backs filmmakers in Rajiv Gandhi row

Sacred Games actors cannot be held liable for dialogues, says Delhi High Court. The court is hearing a plea by a Congress member seeking to remove remarks made against former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. High Court said - “It's already on air. What do we stop?. The court will now hear the matter again on Thursday. The plea alleges the web series misinterprets historical events. Sacred Games is based on Vikram Chandra's 2006 thriller novel. Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte are in the lead roles.
