State Assembly Elections 2018: BJP cruising ahead in Tripura, Nagaland and loses in Meghalaya

State Assembly Election results are coming out in three Northeastern States. And for the first time, the Bharatiya Janata Party is going strong in the region. In Tripura, BJP is moving towards a historic win with over 40 seats out of 59 so far. Tripura was considered a Left bastion for 25 years. In Nagaland, the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party-BJP alliance is cruising towards a major victory. With more than 30 seats. Though Congress is in the lead, it doesn't have enough seats for a majority. NPP is following closely behind.
